Amazing Friendships you Make in Blogland! I have found some amazing and talented friends every time I look thru my friends list.
I saw a little yellow warbler today. I don't know what it is, but when I have a really, really bad day , I get home to find little unexpected surprises at my birdbath! I must say, it is always a thrill to see these little feathered jewels. They blow my socks right off my feet!
They flit in and flit out and leave my heart feeling happy even to have a glimpse. It seems that whatever peace I know rests in the natural world, in feeling myself a part of it, even in a small way. Thanks for reading with me.

Looked out the window this morning and saw a beautiful Western Tanager drinking from our birdbath...such bright yellow and red. Also the black-headed grosbeaks are back. Couldn't get a very good picture of the tanager before he flew away.

Another quilted postcard.
There has been so much going on that
I haven't had much time to play with these.
But gradually I am adding to my collection.
This one has some paper in it.
I couldn't resist the little lion cub.
Enjoy!

Another picture I've been working on. It isn't finished yet. Still working on the fog in the mts.
Some musings from my journal: I refuse to wear masks and play games. I do not want to maneuver and manipulate behind the scenes or twist Gods word to suit myself.
The saying,"He's a self-made man and he worships his creator," you see this all around...so many of us are like this.
My life is filled up with light as I see and understand God, in the face of Jesus, all bright and beautiful. When I look at myself and others, I miss the brightness. I'm not much to look at. My ordinary life is just an unadorned clay pot, not beautiful like Lynda's pots she makes. (See her blog) We are all surrounded and battered by troubles. We're not sure what to do. We've been spiritually terrorized...but God hasn't left our side. Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart...these hard times are small potatoes compared to the good times coming...the lavish celebration that Jesus is preparing for us. I want to be God made, not handmade. That's the only way I can be anything at all worth looking at.

I loved this one.

Spring bloom in Oregon. Cherry trees & daffodil's.

I found some pictures in Virg's camera that I simply had to share with you.

Colin, Reagan, Asher had
so much fun looking for the eggs.
Cynthia, Josh & Tyler had fun hiding them.
Coloring the eggs...Sara used all naural ingredients to color the eggs.

Asher

We went to Sara's house Friday afternoon and helped color and decorate the easter eggs. On Sunday morning, Sara, Delvin and kids
Kristie, Terry & Tyler
Cynthia & Josh
came to Grandma & Grampa's house for Easterday Brunch and to hunt for Easter eggs. Since it was raining some we pretty much stayed under cover. So much fun watching it all. We gathered around the fire in the firepit and had a real nice day.

Our Worlds

I borrowed this from Seth's blog. Isn't it a great thought.......

"There is not one world, but many. The world you live in, and the worlds of others. They are all here, all existing in an invisible harmony. Each tied inescapably with every other. Yet our worlds are at the same time separate. For though all other worlds are each a routine part of any creature's day to day life, seldom does one recognize their existence. Too focused are we on our world. To absorbed in our reality. This is how things often are. This is not how things always are."

I can just see all these worlds bumping into each other, touching each other...maybe sometimes not so gently or harmoniously. It's so true...we each one live in our own little world. It's so nice to get acquainted with people and what's going on in their worlds and to share thoughts and ideas, and see the things they are interested in doing right now.

We are here in Oregon for a few days enjoying all the daffodils blooming profusely and the fruit trees, also, the trees with their fat little buds ready to pop. Nothing like springtime, especially in Oregon. It's nice to see all our friends and family here also. Can't wait to paint Easter eggs with Sara's kids, Friday. Hope Cynthia can come over too.
